Since its inception in 1998, IAS® has identified multiple ways to improve visibility throughout the transport chain. How? IAS targets ocean carriers and other container owners and operators with a central strategy that:
- Addresses blind spots in the land-based portion of the container transport chain
- Establishes a common operating platform in an industry where none previously existed
- Delivers asset management services that offer increased visibility, savings in operating costs, and improvements in customer service
