NYK Logistics delivers fully integrated logistics solutions and is recognized as one of the leading logistics providers in the ocean container transportation industry. NYK Logistics' intermodal marketing arm has been using InterBox to source empty domestic containers since April, 1999.

"Sourcing available containers used to be a cumbersome, manual process, but with InterBox we have the ability to easily access a wide range of empty available containers from multiple steamship lines, all in one place. And booking online helps us be much more efficient; there's no doubt in my mind we have achieved significant savings as a result." - Terry McClelland, Assistant Vice President - Intermodal

Triton Container is a full-service global leasing company that operates one of the largest marine intermodal cargo container fleet in the world. One of the initials adopters of IAS technology, Triton uses the IAS Hub and EquipmentRepair to automate container information exchange with its network of terminals and depots around the world..

"We are very satisfied with IAS. The IAS Hub's validation and formatting capability catches data errors before they hit our system sending them back to the vendor via an Activity Report (TAR) to correct. This significantly reduces the error rate as well as the time our staff used to spend in the very difficult process of finding and fixing errors in our systems. It saves a great deal of time and money on manul error correction - both for us and for the depots we work with." - Brian Damowski, VP of Global Operations

United Arab Shipping Company is one of the largest ocean carriers of dry cargo to the Middle East. UASC started using EquipmentRepair in 2006, using it to exchange maintenance and repair information with about 140 M&R depots around the world. It also uses InterChange to reposition global empty containers.

"If we hadn't had EquipmentRepair in place, I expect we would have had severe difficulties, We are reaping the benefits of its producivity. The difference between what we had before and what we have now is the difference between chalk and cheese." - Jim Millar, Assistant Vice President, Container Management

Iceland's first shipping line and the largest cold store company in the world, Elimskip is a total transportation and logistics company with over 200 operational bases around the world and a mission to be the supplier of choice of internationally competitive, high-quality logistics and transportation services. For over two years Eimskip has been using InterChange to satisfy its global one-way container shipping needs.

"InterChange can save us a significant amount of costs when we need one-way containers compared to getting them from a leasing company. Factoring in per diem and all cost elements, our savings could be up to hundreds of dollars per box. In addition, we are very satisfied with IAS' services, they are highly responsive, and they cover a lot of territory. They have containers just about everywhere I need them."
- Leo Van Beek, Project Manager

Cornerstone Systems has been awarded Intermodal Carrier of the Year from Goodyear Tire and Rubber, and recently received the same award twice from Mattel in 2005 and 2006. Cornerstone uses InterBox to reposition empty containers within the U.S.

"InterBox is an invaluable tool to our business, helping us in two ways. It makes our intermodal operations department personnel more efficient by saving them time and the burden of using phones and faxes to source available containers; and it opens up to them a greater number of opportunities by showing them immediately the available equipment at a large number of intermodal ramps, which is not easily accessible. Our operations people love it." - Ron MacDonald, Senior VP Marketing

ConGlobal is a leading provider of repair, maintenance, storage, and redistribution facilities for the intermodal industry. With depots spread throughout North America, the ConGlobal network handles over 6,500 containers per week. ConGlobal uses the IAS Hub and EquipmentRepair to exchange container information with container owners and operators.

"We have a very good relationship with IAS. The ablity to use IAS Hub to communicate container status information directly from our systems to those of the container owners and operators who use our depot services helps us improve turnaround time, increase equipment velocity, and save costs. And IAS has always been very responsive whenever we've had an issue." - Mike Baldwin, President.

Operating since 1951, Marfret Compagnie Maritime provides ocean carrier services focusing on the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and South Pacific. Marfret uses IAS EquipmentRepair to communicate with  its global network of maintenance and repair facilities.

"With IAS EquipmentRepair we have a single place where we can access the status of containers at repair depots all around the world: North and South America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, even Africa. And with IAS, we get an off-the-shelf platform, saving us the trouble and expenses of developing a proprietary system in house." - Guillaume Tron-Lozai, Director of Logistics.

Based in Lebanon, Metz Container Line has offices and agencies in over a dozen countries in Europe, North America, and the middle East. Metz uses IAS InterChange to reposition containers globally.

"IAS's customer services's response time is very fast. When we need a container repositioned quickly, IAS is always right there to help us locate one. That's important for us in keeping our customers happy, because of we can't find a container for them, they would have to go somewhere else." - Pauline Metz, General General Manager
